Rishbala Songs

And towards making use of good songs towards Rishbala story, read this. I was chatting with Zoya and Leela this weekend on the same.

Yes Zoya. You are cent % correct. That's what it should lead to...all the various plots and angles.

Chalo chill and enjoy. Let me take you to another fun trip. Read whatever is going to come from my head. LOL

Now, your allusion to songs has made me speak about the same...Extrapolating and Interpolating the story elements through the songs is very concise. Because it allows you to follow a structure and a pattern.

When Madhu first time meets RK - the song played is from Fanaa (Tere pyaar mein ho jaaon fanaa)

It was a beginning for either, not knowing where it would have led them to. But creatives gave us a hint. And it was for both.

When RK marries Madhu for revenge ...the song they started to play for RK was ...Tere Ishq pe, Tere Waqt pe, Tere jism pe etc etc ...Bas Haq Hai Mera.

When his desire for revenge ended on party night introspection and him going after her to get her back...the studio night, they introduced a new song...Kuch to tha tere mere Darmiyaan, Rishton ko kya naam doon ya main naata tod doon...coz where do they go from that point with that half marriage with no revenge ?

Enter Catalyst Dips Bhatia. And agreeing to keep the semblance of the marriage with those pillows.

Then Ganesha track got them dangerously involved with each other. It was really questionable on both sides. How can she forgive him and decide to save him...equally baffling to her and him. Only one person understands it and it is Padmini and she tells Madhu ...to go ahead. Madhu along the way convinces RK to accept her viewpoint that he too is capable of goodness and she has not done anything for gaining any upperhand over him.  Here the beginnings of introspection starts from both the parties. Each is trying to understand what the other has started to mean. They introduced an OST Track with Kaisa yeh Ishq, Kaisa Ye Junoon, Tera Ishq hi Mera Junoon

Although the characters were not singing the songs, the song was being played by the creatives for the audience to understand how these two characters are going to be shaped and how they will play out. Now the song is an OST track for the jodi for their love story. Until whatever has been expressed through that song is not fully consumed or played out, they will continue to use the song for two. True, Madhu's part is getting completed...but RK's part is yet to start. If you see, I have been quite stressing on the fact that RK's pyar waala junoon has not started for Madhu. By the middle of KC track, we got Madhu's junoon. At the end of KC track, RK will just get his Ishqy self out. And Junoon is yet to see the light of the day.  One thing is sure...RK will never leave Madhu in rational sense, but may keep disconnecting with her at emotional level.

So until a new song is introduced we are still "spot on" with Ishq and Junoon themes.

As for people feeling that RK will close himself when Jealousy, third angles are played...Nope. RK has to progress in character. He cannot regress like a Tragic Hero Hamlet with his tragic flaw. We can safely assume that RK is slowly healing himself with Madhu being around him. She is equally doing crazy acts to baffle his RK/Rishabh complexities. Her craziness is actually balancing him out when dealing with her. So this guy will keep being rational. What fuels anger and pain between them will be the clash of titans style with RK rationale/clarity and Madhu muddle sense. This is what I have gathered so far. The song too explains the same.

While he reconciled to his Dad's death and is pretty much being controlled with no need of alcohol to sleep, we were shown that ...he stopped blaming himself for his father's death and instead told Madhu in sheer clarity that His Father broke his promise. Its like after Ganesh Visarjan, a new RK was born with added clarity to his mind. He has a new faith in humanity. He talks with reason to his directors and production crew unlike his previous arrogant self. That does not mean that he shelved his crankiness somewhere. Nope. That is still there, but just as his part of character and not his full character.

If now he can respect his Dad and also see in clarity that he was wrong...what is pending for us to see is...When will RK let go the bitterness from these three people...his father, his mother and his ex-gf. Like I say...when you verbalise your pain, 50% of the pain and bitterness is already gone. And 50% you try to heal by paying your attention in seeing goodness in others for same actions. Like against his father's bitterness, he saw Shamsher as exemplary father. Then it is not yet clearly shown, but Padmini is coming out as another contrast against his mother to restore faith in motherhood and now Madhu is on path to restore his faith in love.  Hope you get what I am saying. Basically, in life, we don't need mutiple hits for healings. Just one striking doze is enough. We have to believe that  RK is actually evolving everyday with core Rishabh Kundra being still the sensitive guy. And because of evolving RK, expressions from RK through his actions will vary from what we have got used to. One thing they will not change...his cheezy dialogues, sarcasm and his OUTT and wayward boyish yelling...as that is entertainment for viewers.

And did you like the song ? Tumhe ho na ho...Beautiful rendition from Runa Laila. And I loved Amol Palekar and all his heroines from those days. They used to be such good films in those days. That was Zarina Waheb.

The one song that I missed in that post is Tujh main Rabb Dikhta hai at the lake side
Again from Madhu's point.

Na Kuch Poocha, Na Kuch Maanga, Tune Dil se diya jo bhi diya
Na Kuch Bola, Na Kuch Tola, Muskuraake Diya jo bhi diya
Tu hi Tu Chaya, Tu hi Apna Paraya,
Aur kuch na jaanu, Bas itna hi jaanu,
Tujh Mein Rabb Dikhta hai, Yaara Main Kya karoon
Rabb ne bana di jodi

Then Main Pareshaan Pareshaan
Madhu's inexplicable falling in love with RK because he is so likeable, loveable and comfortable to be with,

Then Karva Chauth Song

Then Baahon Ke Darmiyaan song

is lamhe kya kar jaaoon
is lamhe kya kar jaaoon
is lamhe kya kar doon main jo mujhe chain mile aaram mile
aur ho aur ho saans ka shor ho aanch ki or badhe
aur ho aur ho saans ka shor ho taap ki or chadhe
aur ho aur ho aur mile hum aur bhi jal jaayen

2nd April 2013 - for the triangle of Sultan-Madhu-RK

Woh Lamhe somg.

The Woh Lamhe song sequence was good too...each character and the stage they are at...some hints of regret already flashing across RK's face as he closes his eyes and remembers the day he himself told her they are no longer husband and wife.

6th April
Sheh meri .. maath teri
Mujhe isse sukoon mila
Nafrat hi teri .. meri .. chahat thi
Tujhe todna tha maksat mera
Fir kyun har pal bechaini hai
Kyun nahin chahate puri hain
Hai adhuri khushiyan
Mera rom rom kyun jala
Hum the deewaane .. tere deewaane.
