If RK was the one that kept me hooked onto this show, today Madhubala redeemed herself in my eyes. Her fight for her dignity well within her boundaries is speaking a lot for me. For how can one call for respect if one does not respect his or her own self. After losing everything as the shady deal with RK comes out in the open and it actually becomes a binding contract, Madhu yet again decides to commit herself to her role. Because that atleast gives her a purpose. If when agreeing for marriage deal for money she needed for her father's treatment, she bought RK's words as "You are as good as living dead after marrying me" and she did commit to play the living dead with her relegated status to Spot+Biwi+9th Naukrani, now after the binding contract, she is again buying RK's words of "Aadhi-Adhuri wife" (Half-wife) per the new deal and has decided to commit to play this role. 

Poor girl !  She still has not broken herself off from RK capsule. The scene where she hears Biwi, Biwi and Biwi clearly shows us how she is a completely committed person with any job that she undertakes. She gives her 100% in understanding the vertical hierarchy and lateral relationships. And that is her strength, her faith, her conviction and her ethical principle...She is committed to life around her like the water with its cohesive qualities. And it doesn't matter to her how her contribution looks or how it appears, its just elemental to her like the water.

Poor girl ! naive or dumb or becoming a chance prey to RK. Her actions in the so called jungle were questionable when she decided to take RK head-on for the accident. But to think of her as a naivete person with faith in humanity and courageous enough to be compassionate, all she wanted was dues in mere courtesy. And to expect COURTESY from RK was the SIN that MB committed to be in the state that she is in. And this is what getting her into trouble at each step of her. And too bad, she can never let go of her need to expect courtesy if it seems a right to her.

She only wanted RK to apologize to the accident victim and not be apathetic as he seemed to her. Nothing wrong in expecting that. Which victim or wronged person wouldn't want that ? But she doesn't know there are lot of discourteous people walking around today's world.

Then when RK decided to buy himself off, she feels disrespected, as if being asked to participate in inhumanity. She protests and vows to take the amoral person to justice. Doesn't she get on our nerves for not seeing RK from other world ?  

Enter RK

RK destroys everything around her, it hits the girl finally and she succumbs to the storm and is ready to collect the remnants of tit-bits left of her and her family after the passing storm. And to the unexpecting girl, Rishabh Kundra stoops down to another brute level, totally discourteous, base human behaviour. What is that ? Calling her and proudly claiming the pleasure for causing the overall storm and all the collateral damages to MB. Now which self-respecting girl can stand that? She refuses to be listening that crap. And she gives her answer thru four slaps.

We know the result of the slaps. And interesting enough she keeps on being very level-headed between keeping herself honest to her duties and yet not taking the crap from her so called master. Alas ! All this would have worked perfectly for MB had it been anyone but RK. Because this master changes the portfolio of tasks for his slave at his slightest whim. And why is the master being so flippant and whimsical. Because water she is. Keeps living and flowing and bouncing in beautiful play and yet giving the tranquility to the being who is watching it. Madhubala had not left RK untouched by her. Even RK feels the water on his self. In splashes and at each splash the wetness stays with him. And enter Rishabh Kundra who seems to like the wetness and wanting to play with the water. 

And if you ask me what is Rishabh Kundra to me. He is the Air. The Air which causes the movement within the water.

The self-realization of Madhu that things are never what we suppose them to be.

The forceful attempts on RK to turn him to Ganesha lead Madhu to face deprivation, a sense of loss and supplicate herself to a longing that she doesn't understand and cannot reason, but has the faith that God is going to bless her and take away the deprivation. And there is a price that she has to pay for that and which she quite happily pays for.

She becomes the Biwi of RK. She becomes his Dharampatni in all her choice.

She starts to care for a man that she is supposed to not care for inspite of her better reason.

APPLICATION OF FORCE HAS NEVER WON LOVE or FAITH
Madhu sees that today. Rishabh made her realize that. Good!

Madhu does not relent. She now wants her Bappa to help her in taking RK down. Bad!!!

Madhu needs to understand that every person has a personal equation with God and that is as private as other precious things of our life. She cannot tresspass that sanctity.

We saw that, Rishabh had been reticent to some extent allowing his wife to celebrate the festival. He believed she would not bother him and let him be living in his room the way he wants, not celebrating. He had been in "katti" with his Bappa for years now. Its a relationship turned sour. But there was a rishta quietly and fiercely guarded.

But Madhu had to interfere.

Madhu had to be the religioius extremist. She needs everyone to follow the ritualistic traditions. For her believing in Ganapati is tying the mouli, eating the Modak, participating in aarti, partaking the feast prepared ih Bappa's honour.

Rishabh does not do any of these. So does that make him any less believer ? He had a dialogue with Bappa when no one was around. It was a private one. Some people converse with God in all privacy. He may be angry with Bappa, but when his friend came to stay at his house he allowed him to stay as his other family members wanted him to. He did not let the Akhand Jyoti get extinguished. Small gestures of "atithi Satkaar"

Had Madhu let RK alone, none of the drama would have resulted.

She should not have challenged him to come and partake meals or leave things deliberately in the room. That was a COERCIVE TACTIC. Never helps to gain faith. Instead it serves some of us to become more stubborn. So RK does the Kabab drama and the chawl drama.

The Biwi does not stop making it public about RK's attempts at saving the flame. With that act she inflames Rishabh to become the bad boy and off he takes her to chawl and does what he has to do...to teach her to stay away from rubbing her UNSOLICITED OPINIONS on HIM


Episode 9th October 2012: Madhu's Reaction at RK being shot

Will Madhu feel as a wife or just as a compassionate person?

Then I recalled all her facial expressions:

• Worry that RK is stranded and God knows what he will do
• Disbelief at what she was seeing. The Man actually dancing away in devotion.
• Happiness that her prayers have been heard
• Gratitude expressed to God
• And then she just starts looking at her husband. That is the longest time of the expression we see in her. It is a "mesmerized" look at the man who keeps on winning over her through frustrating of her goody-goody attempts to make him see right.

If only RK had looked at her at that time, they sure would have forged something deeper than previous level. 

I don't think she will think from the point of a wife when she goes to pray to Ganesha to ask for his life. I don't think it will be for compassionate feeling for a dying man. I think it will be more for herself. She saw the man yielding to her will, opening up to her and finally subjecting himself to his friend+God...She sure will have questions now...like RK asks Ganesha...why ? If part of her beliefs were absorbed by him, part of his doubts should flow back to her. Else why that look? Else, how the balance is going to be restored by the man's surrender. This time she will have to ask God on his behalf, why does he do things the way he makes them happen.

Now that's my take. I don't know what CV's  have in store.

As for the feeling him as her husband, we will know only in coming days. Actually Madhu is too assured that RK's life is full of her. Once she sees Dips or anyone else claiming RK, she may feel the pinch and then she may think of RK from a different perspective. 

Dips - Overacting. Even Kukku had tears if you see carefully.

Padmini - She is exactly in the same state as Madhu. She is slowly understanding RK. And Madhu gets her patience from Padmini. They can take any shit, but will not let their goodness go away. They look very silly and other worldly, but that's what they are. And sone pe suhaga (in english to add the shine on gold), they got similar fairy being in Radhaji.

Myself, Peach and Preet yesterday were discussing if Madhu will react to this situation that RK is in as his Wife or just as the compassionate person she is. I was arguing, without any external catalyctic activity, Madhu will not act like the Wife overtly. She would need something that will make her claim her rights and position as RK's wife. Here's the link to that discussion

Just building up of her excitement levels on what she should feel about RK now. Purely relevant only to Madhu. No RK did not see Madhu, unless CVs tomorrow decide to show as if he remembers her. Then that would just mean poor editing and acting and directing today.

When she sees RK in the OT on the bed and when sees the open wound, Madhu's heart-beat increases. She gets panicky. And what does Madhu do in panic ???? She chants her Veer, Dheer and Balbeer Mantra. Earlier when was stuck in the studio at the bridge, RK came to her rescue. Now she is chanting again. So any guesses who will come to her rescue ?  Well not yet...Let's wait for the drama to unfold a little bit.

Establishing and Demolishing of relationships.

1. Madhu - Radhaji bonding.   - Established and Cemented now. 

Madhu told the mother, Rishabh is a fighter and has always fought in his life. So this too, he will be fighting. And that Bappa cannot let himself lose his devotee when he won him after this long time. There was conviction and a bonding. Madhu made her mother Padmini proud there and made Deepali completely go green with jealousy and red with rage. Just like her saree.

2. Madhu - Deepali confrontation - Devrani -Bhabhi rishta demolished. 

So Madhu declared that she is RK's wife and will never leave him. Completion of the circle. Two weeks back RK said that and now Madhu says it. The money-offer from Deepali left Madhu on that day to declare herself that all matters between RK and her were to be dealt in private way with 3rd person to come in between. Today, when it is the question mark on RK's existence, it becomes also the case of Madhu's identity.  Deepali with her green face could not control herself and she had to make Madhu acknowledge all the latent rishta between herself and RK. Well atleast the Biwi fumed just like RK fumed at intruder. 

11th October 2012 - Madhu goes to Siddhi Vinayak Temple to pray for RK

Madhu

Madhu donates her blood to RK as they have a matching blood group. Now that Madhu's blood runs in his body, how will he feel when he knows about that.

Madhu's realization of the unknown rishta with RK through the song Darmiyaan.  It was beautiful.

Madhu realizing that her promise to Radha about returning her son had to twisted by God in this manner. She is asked by Radhaji to go to Siddhi Vinayak temple to seek Ganesha's blessings for RK's life. Madhu agrees.

12th October 2012 - Madhu keeps faith in Bappa and brings back RK to life

The episode started with Madhu's negotiation with Ganapati. Give me back RK's life in return for all these years devotion to you.  And why that negotiation?  She says, "Rishabh ke andar maine apka ka vishwaas jagaya diya hai. Lekin ab mere andar ka vishwaas na bujh jaaye, woh aapki zimmedari hai."

What happened just before the Lekin ? Madhu was seeing RIshabh dancing away in trance, She had seen that Rishabh had gained faith and before she could even have a full look into his eyes, and before she could even express her delighted joy to him, "see I told you, that Bappa will restore your peace", Rishabh took a mortal wound and was about to die. She had so much to talk to her adversary and she never got the chance. So she argues before her Bappa, "Aapko ye saabit karna hoga ki main sahi thee aur woh aapko pathar kehne waala galat tha"

And because, somewhere down this time Madhu had immersed her hesitation to accept how she is bound to RK, she becomes desperate and as his Dharam-patni seeks justice for her husband. She demands God in very matter of principle manner, "Ek baar aap dhoka de chuke hain, ab nahin, ab apne dost ka vishwaas bachaane ka waqt aa gaya hai"

It was beautiful, negotiation loaded with argument and stressing of principle.

Then within the hospital, when doctors give up, I loved how Madhu again slowly starts from periphery and finally calls out to RK to wake up if she means anything to him. She starts with asking him to wake up for himself, his might, his stubborness, his attitude, for his responsibility as the superstar towards his work, his fans, for everything that the man stood for and was known as to the world. He doesn't wake up. She then tries to invoke his latent feelings for his mother, that doesn't serve the purpose. Then she just tries to bait him, don't you want to play with your favourite toy, your  Biwi. "Tumhe mujhe Biwi bulaake , dhauns jamaane ka dil nahin kar raha ?"

She almost breaks down here. A thing that used to vex her when he was alive, suddenly seems the only thing they ever shared with each other. The tease and vex. And now she decides to tease him and vex him. You have only two options...Wake up or wake up...poor girl, she almost broke down there. 

But why the breakdown ...because of disbelief that the RK who was such a formidable person was being written-off. How was that possible in any manner. How can one believe that. So what does she do. Start chanting her God!! Let him take care...

Today, she held onto her faith at her unbreathing husband's side - because if the Lord failed her, if He ignored what she had threatened and promised, she would lose both Him and her husband. She would lose RK to his friend Bappa, and she herself would lose her faith in Him to the void of hurt of knowing the Lord she trusted absolutely had failed her when it mattered most. What she had considered unreasonable in RK and made excuses to Bappa for, she had not the slightest qualm or hesitation in taking up the same approach.

How strange are the Lord's ways that in seeking to assuage the hurt of one beloved devotee and win him back, He was willing to watch another beloved devotee deprioritize Him in that other's favour.

'Tvameva matacha pita tvameva...' The prayer which states that the Lord is mother and father, sibling and friend. True indeed. Who but the one who is all relations would be willing to place His devotees' wellbeing so highly.

Today, what mattered more than the miracle of Rishabh being restored to life - more even than Rishabh acknowledging openly the faith he has never truly given up on, and setting aside his grudge against his divine friend - was Madhu taking that first major step away from the simple devout girl she has always been.

A girl who was straightforward, naively idealistic, and for whom her mother and foster father mattered immensely.Today she faced off against the very Lord she has trusted no matter what until now - for a man she acknowledges only duty and commitment to, but feels for on the most inherent primal plane.

Absolutely true. Very beautifully expressed commentary on what was transpiring between God and Madhu with regards to that one person they both care for. If Madhu vowed to return Rishabh to Ganesha and she kept her word, and when Ganesha seemed to take him away with him, Madhu had to ask the same Ganesha to return him back to her as she had vowed to return Rishabh to his mother and she has to keep that word as well. In all of this, she just crossed the rubicon because who was she to vow in the first place ? and if she was getting what she wanted, then she had to lose something as well. Now that's God's casino for you. One loses to him more than what one seems to win. Madhu lost herself to God's game.She unwittingly committed herself to become the wife of the man she never could have thought of doing it in her sanest imagination.

But seriously why did this girl decide in that unthinking manner to give two commitments to two persons, one a mother and other the God ? And what was the subject of commitment ?  RK ? Was RK even hers to begin with and to make those kind of promises ? Wasn't she like playing in a Casino ? Did she even know what was at stake ?

She realizes the incredulity of her promise once she realizes that she won the game, once she sees "the RK" that she had known all this time and who is now almost transformed to a person whom she does not know anymore, but has an idea that he must be the most adorable person as God used to love him as the person shared a special bond with him. He was there right before her, but he did not acknowledge her presence at the procession nor here in the hospital, he is just a dying man, not the man that she used to know him as.

One needs imagination to have a vision and a little courage to enterprise and a little perseverance to make it a reality. That's what Madhu ventured on.

However, this tempts me to ask, why would Madhu fixate on this imagination of hers ?

Then my answer is Why did RK fixate on Madhu ? With his twisted imagination to break her ?

They both want to break the persons that they know each to be.

Now the break is complete.

RIshabh Kundra - so far always been a point of view peep through Radhaji and occasional let-ins  from RK. We don't who actually he is. How does he function ?

Madhubala Kundra -  She is the new bride now who had until this point played wife under forced circumstances. We now have to see what are the aspirations of this new wife.

Was it because she had goaded him into reconciling with his long-estranged friend Ganpati Bappa? But she had not succeeded in her goading. She had not been able to bring about a happy reunion.

It was the Lord Himself who finally took a hand in the matter.

Yes. She knows she was the one goading him into. She told RK, he can live in his room until Ganesha lives in the hall for 10 days. And yet, she broke her word and kept, taking mouli, modak to RK's room and leaving those things there. She then has taunt him to come and join in supper (bhoj) if he has the himmat. She then finally has to challenge, leave your drama and submit yourself to God. If you ask me, that was too much. Madhu was just after RK. Seriously had RK not softer feelings for Madhu and hadn't he wanted himself to get defeated from the farthest corner of his mind and heart, Madhu would never have been to get Ganesha into the house.

Yes, she did not succeed in her goading and she did not bring about the reunion. See above. It was RK himself who  was willing to be goaded and had his re-union with his God.

Then why did she feel that her faith would not last if RK died,...because Whatever RK may be...even if a monster, RK was a TRUTHFUL MAN, a man of his word. And a truthful man counts and he means something. A truthful and rightful person like Madhu would never be able to forgive a protector like God for doing something unjust equivalent of betrayal.  If RK had surrendered to God and Madhu had expressed her gratitude to HIM and amazed at the magical event, then why the inexplicable events thereafter. Its enough to send even the sanest one to a state of shock...so much that one can easily go into state of disbelief.

Madhu calls herself as Hauslon se Veer Hoon, Sankaton mein Dheer hoon.  That positive thinking and stoic attitude comes only if one is grounded in some beliefs. But if one is rudely shocked, then already the "Dheer" state is lost. So this is a weak Madhu who had taken a pit-stop at the temple to replenish herself with her fuel ...which is faith.

Lord took matters in his own hands, because Madhu played that kind of dangerous game, if you ask me. Everyone has personal relationship with God. But Madhu wanted to be instrumental in taking RK to his reconciliation with God. You think God would let her go scot-free for all this. She ended up in deep-commitment to RK in front of GOD, which RK himself never gave her the right to commit herself to him in marriage.

Its a convoluted story between MAdhu, God and RK and at this stage, Madhu had started it all. Hence her guilt feeling to some extent ...

Ganesh Chaturthi to Visarjan track - Symbolism

Ganesh Chaturthi to Visarjan track is a watershed moment of RK and Madhu's lives.

First time it is that RK was not treating Madhu as his game, property or Biwi, or competitor or felt vulnerable before her. First time SOMEONE else became more important than his obsession for Madhu.

• It is solely RK's long-due confrontation and make-up with Ganesha. A part of his anger quenched and peace made. RK loses, almost dies, Rishabh and Ganesha win. 
• It is soley Madhu's testing of her faith in Ganesha and guided through his faith to accept herself as RK's Wife (Dharampatni). Madhu loses all the anger for RK and now just wants RK wake up and fight with her to give her a reason to start fighting against him for a win. She feels lost without RK now and looks to Ganesha. 
• Its visarjan of RK resulting in Madhu's visarjan of her hate history with RK and just accept him for what he is and accept herself to what she is to him, his Biwi.
• Alas! if RK is not there, will Madhu becoming Biwi of RK matter to Rishabh Kundra ? Will Rishabh Kundra accept Madhu as his Biwi now. Or there is still anything of RK left and that RK visarjan was only to the extent of Madhu's seeing ?

Episode 18th October 2012: Trust and Resassurance - How Madhu is different from RK

Like I was saying to Pippa, today's episode, although if on surface brought back The RK we know and love, today we completely understand  why he is THE RK, how he evolved in that manner and why is so different from Rishabh Kundra. We get to know him through the three female characters he gets to interact today.

I would title today's episode as Trust and  Reassurance

Trust and Reassurance - Madhubala the fortunate.

She is no longer confident. She cannot trust herself on what she is doing. What seems right seems wrong also. And what is supposed to be wrong is actually correct as well. She doesn't know what has happened to her or what is happening to her. She is yearning to take care of someone whom she should not care for and who would not allow her to take care. She is upset that she is breaching trust on both family side and also hurting the man by she is supposed to hate.

What kind of dilemma is this ?

And so we have the song. It should have been played today instead of yesterday. But no worries, Episodic screenplay may aisa aage -peeche ho jaata hai, with all those ad breaks, precaps and daybreaks.

However, does this dilemma get resolved for Madhu. Through her mother.

She trusts her mother and she is reassured by her mother that what she feels now is not wrong. She reinstates Madhu's shift of RK view as plausible as RK is not the bad man but a good man, which Madhu could see.

What do we have here ? A beautiful scene that makes us happy looking at the confident mother and reassured daughter. Weren't we all happy when Madhu smiled through her tears ? Under these circumstances, how can anyone say, Madhu is not going to remain innocent and good person all her life (assuming Padmini is going to be like this.)

Trust and Reassurance - Rishabh Kundra the Unfortunate.

He needs to know what happened, when he was unconscious there. And who can he turn to ? He tried to check with his wife. Didn't we all listen how he was addressing her as Madhu trusting her completely. His wife was evasive towards his questions, though her exuberant joyful act gave up on her. He is still smarting to know and there comes his ex-love who jilted him in the past, claiming that she saved him and given him his blood. Can he trust her ? No. But who is going to reassure him that what he thinks is right. That Dips cannot be the person who could save him. Enter his mother. Although Rishabh cannot trust her, but he looked at her with the last straw kind of thing and asked her, who gave him blood. The mother is stupefied. And she looks at her DIL as if that DIL is going to come for her rescue. The mother couldn't even look into her son's eyes and refuse to give answer. She had to act dodgy. Rishabh is a person who wants everything in its honesty given back to him straight whether it is to bless him or curse him. Mrs. Bhatia fails miserably to reassure Rishabh on anything.

And there seethes out the RK out of Rishabh Kundra. The RK who is going to protect Rishabh Kundra from people whom he cannot trust and cannot have any kind of assurance of bonding.

His RK act gets him the information he was seeking. I feel for this man. It was painful for me to watch Rishabh Kundra's predicament until this point. I mean how he just has to become a mean person to counter meanness around him without any choice.

Reassurance leading to Trust - between the adversaries RK and Madhubala

Its a very conceited act of RK, which initially the trusting Madhubala doesn't understand and ends up giving away her perturbed expressions at finding out RK-Dips Love story. Is this the man that she knows of him as ? But then, it starts to reassure him that he is on the right track. Then soon the conceited drama hits her and she sees through it to know what RK is upto. A reassured look appears and she watches the rest of the drama unfold. Truth out.

RK and Madhubala come to face each other to address the unsettling question. Why Madhu donated her blood to RK, a person who inflicted worst kind of torments over her soul and family. Do they trust each other while asking and being asked ? Yes, they do. And what do they do ? RK doesn't yell "OUT" likes he yells at Dips and his mother. Madhu musters her courage to speak up what she has to. She answers him back trustingly, "Won't you have done the same if I were in your position ?" and looks for reassurance that she did the right thing.  That vulnerable look of Madhu's; wanting to do the right thing for herself; pushes back RK and brings forth Rishabh Kundra again, a man who wants to care for others, who would assure people that he is there for them. 

Rishabh Kundra and RK's concerns have always been not get vulnerable before anyone. They can protect others, but cannot seek help from others. But today the question is going even beyond that. Its time for Rishabh to set aside his vulnerability and take care of the question that Madhu asked him mildly in doubt  "Won't you have done the same if I were in your position ?"  It had not been an easy act for his adversary in showering her kindness, then can he not shower a little understanding on his adversary for the same. Reassurance leading to Trust. Not that they become lovers or something. They are still adversaries but all in faith.

P.S: When a person comes back to consciousness, it really matters for the person to know what transpired when he was zoned out. And this becomes significant for control-freaks like RK or Rishabh Kundra. If one is surrounded by good people around by him/her, the person sets aside the questions for later time even though his mind gnaws to know what happened. This is rarely shown over TV. And in MEIEJ we are seeing it because this is RK who is projected as guy who has his fears and all. But at real, the thing to know is present. First hand example is me.

Madhu's beauty

Btw, I never said it explicitly. Hope we all agree that Madhu's beauty actually is a show-stopper for RK Express.  Don't you think so ? Madhu might appear all angry, proud, stubborn, caring and all that before RK, however Rishabh Kundra is not excited with those traits of Madhu. He hardly cares as he has plenty of it in himself. What he likes is how those traits emotionally flare up Madhu and how her beauty comes across to him forcing him to stop in his tracks and just look at her. Basically its likes a bumpy accident to his smooth driving. 

That's how he has changed so much in Madhu's company. True to story's plotline, Madhu's beauty captivates him in all senses. The storyline doesn't require Madhu to be intelligent. The plot requirement is for her to be extremely honest and wearing her heart on her sleeve. In process of experience she may stop being so transparent, but her first time reactions are always going to be naive and straight from her heart. And this will gradually lead Rishabh to want her in his life. He is a superstar. He needs to have a gilb tongue to get through his everyday life. It must be such a relief to talk to someone where he doesn't need to act being worried for pitfalls in the process.  But her honesty, transparency would never have been enough to attract a man like RK to bond with her and marry her, even if it was a game in the beginning. He needed to be mesmerized by her. And Madhu...she sort of would have been a blonde belle and happily settle down where her mother would have wanted her to settle down, had it not been for RK. The way Madhu was shown enjoying the movie, there is so much of unexplored and unrequited childhood desires in her.

Worries going away

If you ask me, Shamsher as the wonderful father in adopted sense and not in biological bonding sense has already given her a SKEWED outlook on daughter's duties. She is constantly burdening herself with the weight of her gratitude to the man who became her father and in process though wanting to call him papa, calls him MAALIK ; quite different from her mother's MALIK.  Its too much of baggage. Its now a good development that Shamsher's flaw will let her shed some of that weight. 

Little by little as she gets free-er, we will start to see the true Madhubala.  With Trishna around at her home, she became the elder sister around even when she was younger to Trishna. Now RK has no one else than her to pamper. He is no Trishna and no Shamsher where Madhu should feel the weight of gratitude. She is actually much free in RK's place.  

Madhu's fight for RK with Rishabh Insecurities - as understood through her acceptance of Rishabh's Insecurities in Episode 85 which ends Studio Night track and marks entry of Dips in their lofe;  and challenging/breaking RK insecurities stemming out of his past through episodes 169, 170, 171, 172 and 173 which ends Test of Love Track and Dips as a poisonous threat in their life.

The flow of romance was much smoother today. RK was back in his element with filmy dialogues and Madhu was back to her besharam self. What I like about this couple is there is no fake coyness amongst them, they are very blatant about thier desires and attraction for each other.I find it very progressive that Madhu is just as open and enthusiastic about it  as RK. There are times when I find that she purposely provokes Rk into a more intimate situation and I think RK likes that aspect of her personality. In all loved that segment... can't wait to see how love confession will play out at Sangeet, after all RK is supposed to be king of romance. What I found amusing is that RK is really planning to be Jogi by shunning all his materialistic belongings so even more appropriate. [SD]: Agree the bolded portion. We always feel that, the entire ED gang here. I love the CVs for giving that kind of heroine to us in this story. Her initial dream about RK when she has not even met him, somehow keeps validating the present Madhu and also the "Pareshaan Madhu"  in her imagination actually proudly professed to RK that she had dreamt about him. Later on the way she goes about winning Rishabh Kundra at all stages is just adorable. When in Aa zara dance or the Darmiyaan dance in the studio, the way she looks or the way she flirtatiously smiles is enough to make him own her...I just don't understand how the guy is even able to resist her.   Though I understand her standpoint of going away with him very clearly, sometimes I wonder if am being wrong in also adding that she too wants to own him body and soul with undivided attention from him. Presently she does have to share him with his Superstar self, him as an organization of difficult and unwanted relationships over him. Madhu as this epitome of sensuous and sensible woman is growing at quite an admirable pace in my eyes. She can always put sensuality on the backseat if she has to deal with issues and problems of practical nature, but once they are dealt with, she goes about being sensual with her husband. Actually this is what I felt in Madhu-Radha scene today. Madhu is least emotional about Radha not telling her or RK not telling her...all she was emotional about was...how an important hurdle crossed that allows her grow closer to the man she loves. For her that revelation showed that yet another wall fell for her and now she gets to go closer to Rishabh. As much as we think RK has an agenda in going away, now it seems to be Madhu too has started stacking up her own agendas for this trip. Just that RK talks and Madhu hears and never tells RK or the viewers. She just believes in surprising us.

God! those words in RK mansion's foyer area near the lift !!!  And after that the snaky woman makes her entrance to remind him every minute that he cannot fall in love with any other woman as they are just going to abandon him like her... how challenging it had been to her in claiming this man...she had to make him open up to the idea that she too can feel for him and if I think back assuming that she started falling for her husband alongside hating him more than that and if she knew about this already, then she had been way too patient with him and tearing apart whorl after whorl of his without letting him feel it and thus making him accept her love in equal regard. Now in restropect, I feel amazed that just as much RK was fighting Dips in his own way, so was Madhu helping him in totally ignoring her and their past relationship just concentrating on each other. It definitely gave a lot of balance to Rishabh Kundra as Madhu's ignoring of Dips stabilized RK into talking with her freely as if she feels nothing for him and thus giving Madhu all that access to deal with her husband. If Madhu had prioritized Dips like us viewers wanted us and given any value, Rishabh would have fortified his walls even more blocking all access to him. Intelligent Madhu!!!! Brilliant !!! For her his acceptance of her regard must have been the deepest challenge and win for her...may be that is why the being in love state is making her suddenly so light-headed and giddy that she just wants to fly away.
