Okay on a serious note, other than registerations to all of the scenes towards the story development, Madhu's melting down to RK would have been an unreasonable clunkiness to me and I would have discarded the whole scene as just clunkily made up scene, had it not been saved by RK's dialogue rub of Madhu's words to him back to her. He gives it back to her that somewhere ego should have a limit just like Biwi said to him. So under the pretext of listening out to his Biwi, in typical RK's bombastic performing style, RK was showing to her, "See I am mending myself". And out naive simpleton of Madhu easily buys that stuff from RK as she always would want to win with her self-righteous actions and lectures. Biwi melts and makes up with hubby. Madhu saw the whole thing as her win and so she relents first and calls for truce and eats first.
Very intelligently done. Atleast they made me happy ...the discerning one here.

How many of you felt that today's RK was looking like a B grade Film star of regional movies and not the super star RK in the second part of the episode?
Didn't you all feel that extremely sweetened RK was not like Dominoes Sugar but was more like Sweet and Low ? Nothing natural about the sweetness. And did you all listen how that sweet was said ?
And a Hug with Sasurjee ????
Seriously...now are all Fridays going to be like this ...Over the board material ???
I refuse to acknowledge today's episode. I would just think somehow magically Madhu got transported into Chawl so that Shamsher is caught and Dips can seduce RK. Where is all this leading to ?
OMG!!! Not again. A story going down the drain.
RK has made all peace with Madhu and Shamsher. End of his own challenge to himself...Kismet ki lakiron ko mitaana chaahta hoon, And janaab ko pata hi nahin ke woh haar chuke.
RK is gone nuts !!! I just refuse to believe that such an episode was telecasted.
And O Womaniya mania has reached Madhubala Police as well. They are chanting Policiya !
ETA
Okay inspite of being bad episode material, the dialogues, some of them were guffaw-worthy. But then, we never wanted our hero to do a slap-stick comedy. I was thinking that this much classier than that...comedy of manners.
@ Hug scene: I don't know how you people have interpreted it, but this is jus my POv...During that scene, RK was expressionless and very blunt... It was more of a sealing a pact with a hug... It meant that we shall honor the cute secret between us...
Zoya,
@bold.
Saw the same. Hence my reason to call him B grade star today. I was not ridiculing RK or VD. Infact he was the only one who redeemed the episode and made it worth watching for the entire time. By calling him that I was taking a dig at the writers what they are making their superstar do...like yesterday eavesdropping, then reconfirming what his naukar said and today very fast paced dialogues which seem like fitted scenes from space as the director was running out of time and he asked for racy screenplay.
The scene could have been classier through a handshake. But just for Madhu's girly sentiments, they showed HUG between two men who had huge differences and gussa. I mean please think about MANLY instincts as well. Men will just not hug like that especially persons with that egos on both sides. If they do then psychologically those two men become MOB characters who fight and hug for making up. Now seriously are those two in any way Mob characters.
The writers though writing for female audience, just because RK does not fall in the regular mould of married husband in saas bahu saazish drama, the manly traits should be retained. That is my grudge over the hug. Indian men do not have gay kind of reservations, but at the saeme time RK was neither before his filmi fraternity to put up a hug-act and nor was being a vain, superficial guy when he was genuinely apologizing to his Sasurjee. To hug act ki zaroorat nahin thi. Men do not change mannerisms in one day even if they have done soul-search in one day.
Today's episode ...construction wise...RK and Madhu scene just popped up. And RK going to any lengths to Madhu...just in one day , one evening and one night...shown to be in the black shirt across 5 days of the week, doesn't all that mean I was repeatedly being stamped that "Shridevi you are watching the story occuring all within the same day...where the day never ends and the night never ends."
Dhai ghante ki movie dekh daali miyaan biwi ne, aur Padmini ab bhi dining table pe tarkari kaat rahi hain. Aaadhi raat ko sabji banayengi.!!!
I mean show some sense. There is a thing called denouement, a catharsis. But the catharsis they showed today, it was like ...lo this is the fast track THE END of the movie.
Change clothes. Show to me that RK feels all the remorse over a span of few days and not a span of hours. Ghanton mein kiska gussa kam hua hai ya kisne shaanti se kaam kiya hai.
And RK turning sweet in such a RAPID FIRE style...is he RK or RIshabh Kundra or what ? Does RK look like a man who will hugs for good reasons ? He can give hugs to embellish his superstar image...but this one to one man talk on the balcony of a chawl, where surprisingly there is no CHAHAL PAHAL, no one is sleeping outside to hear anything.
All in all very crudely constructed episode.

I already said this yesterday. The dialogues were super yesterday. As usual.
The best ones for me were these. He was in dead serious, dead curious and dead sincere mode and yet, he could not stop being sarcastic quite in his character.
- Picture abhi baki nahin hai, I mean film khatm hone waali hai
- Iske aage ke dard bhare daravne parts
- Sab kuch theek hota to saasuma, hum koi chamgadhad to nahin jo itni raat ko bhatakne nikal pade
Peach, chamgadhad means BAT. Seems RK is making fun of VD.
And yes those dialogues that you cited,
Sasurjee apni Biwi ko yahaan main chodke jaa raha hoon, uska dil mat todiye gaa
All along he was talking to Shamsher about "Your" daughter this and that, but as Biwi comes to them, RK looks at her and claims her back before Shamsher. This time he very authoritatively tells his sasurjee to take care of "His Wife". This dialogue was meant for both Shamsher and Madhu and more so to Madhu. That both should not forget that he still considers Madhu as his. Madhu was quite baffled at the sense of ownership shown by RK to her father and asking him to take care of her, as in let my biwi enjoy her stay here. Just moments (hours ago in RK mansion) she was crying that RK has insulted her dad when Dad wanted to mend relations with him. So RK was indirectly telling Madhu that he has now made up with Shamsher and he has upheld her heart.
And the same dialogue is having another meaning for Shamsher. Shamsher is quite taken aback at the second half of sentence "Dil nahin todiye gaa". He knows what RK is saying, he was yet to absorb the shock that RK gave to him by acknowledging himself as "paapi" who deserves Shamsher's wrath and his attempts to save his daughter, but as Madhu comes up...and when RK says Apni Biwi...there is yet another shock to the inebriated Shamsher, Your daughter became Meri Biwi again and with that rise of RK again. Basically Shamsher understood that RK can apologize for his misdeeds but would not let go of his Biwi, which per Shamsher's plan, Madhu had to be freed from RK.
RK is truly a master-mind. He always sees the big picture and is ready to pawn even himself towards the grander picture. To me his marriage proposal to Madhu in hospital and then following day, his early morning rationale verabtim to biwi remains EPIC to me. The amount of thinking he does for each of his actions and how he explains all of that to Madhu in two different tones...RK doesn't much waste time on execution, but thinks quite a lot before executing. No wonder this guy doesn't sleep well even under medication that should technically put him to dead sleep. He keeps on drifting and waking up...like listening to Madhu's sobs, feeling someone's (Madhu's) presence near him when he dozed off watching the movie and I...for the seduction scene... think Dips tries in the same manner, causing RK to hallucinate that she might be Madhu
About the other dialogue...vaada karta hoon koi badtameezi nahin karoonga , that was their cute understanding. Madhu knows that when RK says that he means it. Remember how he said the same thing when he brought her to his room and was convincing her to stay put in his room.
Is there any difference between that time's Madhu-RK and this time's Madhu-RK ? Well...that was the beginning day of RK treating and caring for Madhu as his wife, a status he was never giving before, and now that bond has already cemented between them post his near death experience and Madhu's efforts in saving him. RK now values his life more for Madhu as she would get more hurt if anything happens to him. So it was a reassuring dialogue between them when same RK's dialogue received a slight NOD from Madhu even if the matter belonged to her Dad who was important to her more than her life. She trusted herself in RK's care the first time, now this time, she trusted her father to RK's care. So basically a progression from Madhu as she sees progression from RK's end towards letting in other people between their very pvt relationship.
Me and most of us disappointed at the screenplay of the episode, had all given credit to RK, that only because of him the episode was worth watching and only his dialogues have depth again. None of the other characters have depth except ...must say...good dialogue delivery by Padmini and Shamsher. Seriously both these actors invest themselves in their roles and do add life to their characters.
We all know that MEIEJ attractions are RK and Madhu. RK's dialogues and Madhu's beauty are always accentuated in such a manner they become windows to their souls. On Friday, while the screenplay was compromised, the dialogue writer did his job for RK, but he made couple of mistakes for Madhu that caused time-warp issues in her narrative. Dhrashti as the actor should have improvised it while delivering the dialogues or asked the writers to correct it. However DD is no VD, never much corrects it, so she added to our ire and desire to ridicule. And seriously she should not sob like that; cupping her mouth. No one does that in reality. When one is overwhelmed, one just cries, unless DD is conscious of her looks when she cries and so she part covers her face.
When in the bed, she covered her mouth it made sense as she was trying to stifle sounds in order to not disturn RK. But in these scenes, she is quite free from that worry.
Now coming to beauty treatment, strangely, even the make-up persons made a mess of DD. The eye make up is horrible with too much of false eye-lashes and that eye-liner. Her awkwardness which was close to be registered by my heart, instead had me looking at eye-make up and getting irritated with fidgety moments as I suddenly was snapped out of Madhu's pvt world and entered on the sets of MEIEJ.
Re your thoughts
>>>>>Loved the comparison between the promise from this time and the promise from when he first brought Madhu to his room. I was thinking about the trust overall between them. Regardless of how this started and what's gone on between them and however mad Madhu might be with him at the end of the day she does trust him to a certain degree in that she trusts his word. She may not have the utmost faith in his character at this time but she knows that she can still trust him.
Well that again is not just Madhu trusting RK. It is RK who makes people trust him. He forces people to trust him, because he rarely messes his words and thoughts. He is not afraid wording his thoughts, so intentions are quite clear and no longer suspect for the listeners.
Not just Madhu, RK had forced the same kind of response from Padmini on the studio night stranded track and now Shamsher in the balcony scene. This inspite of the fact that the same Padmini got duped by him when he first came to say sorry to him (post his release from police custody on bail).
RK uses a lot of verbatim expressive of a husband's interaction with his wife. I am so surprised that RK actually knows how to play act husband and damaad. I wonder is it from his film-acting occupation? The way he throws his "damaad" weight around Padmini and Shamsher, forces them to just go quite and take his word.
RK - from single to married
I just love that, how he completely gets into being a family person with Madhu and Madhu's family. Such a contrast from his ever present step-family... His fourth marriage vow in that regard, by keeping quiet, he is actually fulfilling it. He did not promise to look after his wife's family like he treats his. So sincere thinking on that front. He is 100% not treating in like manner and instead Madhu's family actually exist on his canvas, unlike his own non-existent family.
other things...
Yesterday, over the forum, many have said that Madhu is not being given proper dialogues. And moreover, whichever dialogues were hit with viewers the creatives are re-using them. So I would like to keep up my feedback so creatives don't just lax in mere 5 months of show shelf-life. And I am happy some feedback is from male members. As too much of female analysis makes it quite skewed analysis.
Raghubir Shekhawat, the dialogue writer of MEIEJ has bagged another show as well. So hope he doesn't have time constraints for MEIEJ along with his other commitments.

SD- Absolutely agree with almost all the points you've made.
I too felt the same way about DD 's make up...somehow during that whole scene , when she spoke about her father, Balraj, her make up was too jarring and distracting. It reduced the impact of her performance, and that was her scene of that day.
Even her dialogues, so many times, I have noticed repetition. Since the story revolves around her life, wonder why the creatives are being so lazy. I hope they register and correct this. It is a major flaw because most of the scenes with her are so intense, and suddenly you hear something she said a day ago or a week ago
and one is like 'whaaat!! An example: bakwaas bandh karo or yeh kya bakwaas hai has been repeated ad nauseum by her to RK.

Life mein Twist isliye Kahani mein Twirl
That's Balraj's gameplan for MB'Verse in coming days. The episode was not much except
- Family Picture Taking and Exhibition to Balraj
- Radha (The Gatekeeper) being yet again the spokeswoman to advise RK and Madhu to complete their saat phere along with Padmini and Shamsher.
- Balraj vengeance unleashed.
- What takes the cake is Balraj's dialogues.
- Balraj's mother has died and his fortune has dwindled to 3 crores from 300 crores and he holds Madhubala his daughter as responsible and vows to kill her and his wife Padmini on the day Padmini is getting married to Shamsher.
When he first sees the exhibition at the Chawl...this is how he gets clean bowled.
Roma ==> "Aunty"
Shamsher ==> "Pehelwaan"
Trishna ==> "Pehelwaan ko apna baap bolti hai"
Padmini ==> looking at her mangalsutra and her sindhoor..."hamaare naam ka pahna hai...pehelwaan se shaadi...kya confusion hai"
history ki mystery clear ho rahi hai
RK ==>Yeh bhi shaamil hai is family main ?
Madhu ==> Vinaashbala
By the end of the episode when he devises his plan to kill his Vinaashbala, this is what we get to hear...
Padmini ==> Kulta kalankini ...alag hi love story
"Main Tulsi Tere Aangan ki Pehelwaanjee, Badli karli maine saajan ki Pehelwaanjee"
Shamsher becomes a saand from Pehelwaan
"Madhubala nahin - main dooba saala, Balraj ki vinaashbala"
Asides
Where did get that picture of Madhubala from ? That was from Mata ki Chowki pooja. And it still has the caption of some old times ? Where did that clipping come from ?
RK ko Giraftaar karaate karaate
Madhubala ka dil...RK ke giraft mein
So finally we have one person saying per storyline that Madhubala is ATI KHABSURAT...Meri Bitiya...

have to give a
for the writer...he wouldn't let us be a passive watcher...the dialogues linger
in the mind until we decode it...
Deepali...Intezaar hi likha hain na tumhare kismet mein
R.K...Haan,Intezaar hain aur pyaar bhi hain meaning just 'waiting' for Deepali whereas his wait yielded him 'Love'
R.K... Pyaar se thoda aur intezaar kardi hoti toh kahaani kuch aur hi hoti....meaning out of love
if you had waited for me a little longer may be we could have married then, the story would have been different with me still yearning for that true love...but,now I have pyaar, love
R.K...Hain na intezaar...as the story is different now... are you not still waiting,in intezaar for your dream life where as I got my true love in my life
R.K just twisted her dialogue around and baffled her and us viewers too...Intelligent writing...hope I got it right...

A poorly constructed episode, that looks bad creation-wise and yet leaves impact on viewers because of dialogues.
There definitely was "patching of scenes shot at different times". It seemed clothing of the scenes through some dialogues and editing where the screenplay itself was a bad framework. This is my view only for today's episode construction. Today, the screenplay was total failure and definitely the dialogue writer had some kind of challenge to show some transitioning. I rate today's episode as C. All I see is clunk running the agenda for the CVs
The "Let's go away where there are just you and me" Track has now addendum of "Let's return back to our loved ones" with another conflict from Ms.Radhaji that she will not allow the son to go away anywhere.
Only one scene seemed good and that was Radhaji going to Padmini and sharing her happiness and I was enjoying it until, the clunk showed up...that Radha now involves Padmini to oppose the going away track for Madhu and RK. Both the mother's opposition...
Dialogue writing:
Waise Madhu picking up the Sargi packet from Trash bin and eating the same brought the highest TRP and so I think Raghubir Shekhawat in happiness used the word "Kachra" for RK.Madhu does not mind picking up the valuable thing from Kachra ka dibba. :)
The dialogue writer could have said...tumhaare dimaag mein bhoosa bhara hua hai, but he very wittily has written Tumhaare dimaag mein kachra bhara hai.
Ab bhoosa ho ya kachra...I wonder, how is that gonna help Madhu except that she lends him her brain or cleans his brain and fills up her brain. Plain hilarious fight between the husband and wife by saying insane words there. LOL !!!
"The darkness of the night just before the daylight break is the darkest".
Madhu: Tum Mera Ghana Andhera. So Madhu is calling him her darkest time of the night and Rishabh is calling her his daylight break "Tum meri pvt suraj ki pahli kiran ho". Makes sense as a couple. She is his Hope.
Isn't that what she just promised to him...to teach him to accept, love and trust everyone around in the world, NOT just her. This is the aspect of RK which I have always said needs to be evolved. He is evolved and intelligent, but does not know how to let go or take it easy. Until he gives it all, learn not to ask love any more and just loves without expectation without holding any grudge, he is never going to feel loved enough. That is the meaning of his song as well.
Bujh ke na bujhe ye pyaas o rabba ,jaane yeh kaisa hai pyaar! Until he learns to be satisfied, by not building up thirst, "Dooriyan hai kyon darmiyaan" will not go away. And isn't he asking Madhu that question.."Mujh ko ye tu bataa"..
See here...the ending moods of the song for either of them...towards that they are building a bridge of hope and rescue...
Rishbala song translation for non-Hindi forumites
Honestly that song cannot be fulfilling love story and I am so glad that they are working at the resolution for the Rishabh induced pain for RK.
I liked her dialogue today... "Is Aag se Thodi si Aag churakar, Love ka bonfire jalayenge"
Gosh !! Madhu is on a high actually. She keeps breaking Rishabh Kundra left and right. He tries to be difficult with Aag ka dariya and pat comes her response that she will steal something from that dariya...as if she hardly cares what he is talking about. Too good. Its like for once Sheldon has been taken for a ride...from Big Bang.
